You'll split your time between working from our Gillingham office and travelling to dental practices across the UK to support IT and dental imaging systems.
About the Role
This role includes a mix of
office-based support
and
fieldwork
, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and support of IT systems and imaging equipment used in dental practices. Full training will be provided to help you gain practical experience and build a strong foundation in technical field service.
Key Responsibilities
Support engineers with installing and configuring IT and dental imaging equipment.
Provide first-line IT support from the office and at customer locations.
Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Perform basic maintenance tasks and escalate more complex issues when needed.
Travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays.
Provide clear guidance and assistance to clients when required.
About You
We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
You'll Need:
A basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and networking.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A positive attitude and readiness to take on new challenges.
A full UK (manual) driving licence.
Proof of right to work in the UK.
To be based within a commutable distance of Gillingham, Kent.
Flexibility to travel across the UK.
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in IT support or customer service.
Entry-level IT certification or training (e.g. CompTIA, BTEC, etc.).
