What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Marine Operations, as a
Junior IT Support Technician,
you will provide technical support to a global client base who use Mimic Condition Monitoring Software onboard seagoing vessels.
You will:
Assist with Software Testing of Mimic product lines
Provide level 1 Software/Hardware support.
Conduct onsite installation of standalone Mimic software products.
Manage data collection, calibrations and minor repairs
Create technical guides for issue to ships staff
Create standalone virtual machines for software testing and support.
Administer the Vivantio service desk.
Assist in the procurement of Mimic hardware products
Assist CM consultants on site with basic engineering tasks including attaching Mimic measurement points, collection of vibration data (this may also require some global travel).

To join our team, you will need:
Eligibility to gain MOD Security Clearance (essential)
Experience in proficient use of multiple software systems including both internally and externally developed software packages
Knowledge of SQL Server database engines
Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of network topology
Basic electronics knowledge
Troubleshooting capabilities
Full, clean UK driving licence
