Job Description
We are a well-established and growing bespoke joinery and interiors company specialising in the design and creation of high-quality, made-to-measure furniture and interior solutions.
Based in Chelford, our work takes us across a variety of projects, so some travel will be required. We're now looking for a motivated Junior Joiner/Carpenter to join our skilled and friendly team with opportunities available on either a freelance basis or as a salaried position.
Responsibilities
Supporting our senior joiner with daily tasks while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of joinery Working on-site to assist with installations of kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms and other bespoke interiors. Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail. Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and joining materials. Collaborate with team members on plumbing, masonry, and electrical projects when necessary. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
About You:
Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and passionate about joinery and interiors. Some carpentry/joinery knowledge, college or workshop experience desirable. Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Able to work well within a small, close-knit team. Confident using hand tools, bench saws, and measuring equipment safely. Punctual, with excellent timekeeping and attendance. Takes pride in producing quality work with a strong eye for detail. Full UK driver's licence essential.
