Junior Designer

to join our talented design team.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Designer, you will support senior designers in the development of creative and market-ready fashion collections. You will be closely involved in transforming design concepts into practical design solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various stages of the design process, from research and trend analysis to fabric selection and technical specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior designers with conceptualizing and developing designs that align with brand vision and market trends. Create sketches, technical drawings, and digital illustrations using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Conduct market and trend research to inform design decisions and identify emerging consumer preferences. Support the selection and testing of fabrics, trims, and finishes to ensure quality and performance. Prepare detailed technical specification packs to communicate design details to production teams and manufacturers. Collaborate with pattern makers and sample makers during prototype development, participating in fitting sessions and fit adjustments. Work with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and merchandising to ensure alignment and smooth workflow. Help manage design timelines, documentation, and organization of design files and samples. Assist in quality assurance by monitoring sample quality and addressing any issues during production. Contribute to preparing presentations, lookbooks, and showcasing collections during sales meetings and trade shows.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Internships or previous experience in fashion design is advantageous. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and experience in creating technical specs. Familiarity with 3D design software (e.g., CLO 3D) is a plus. Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and production processes within the fashion industry. Strong passion for fashion, design trends, and innovation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to balance creativity and technical accuracy. Effective time management and multitasking skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies through continuous learning.
