Job Description
This is a superb opportunity for someone sharp, ambitious and keen to learn.
Your role will be reporting into a Financial Controller and, while handling day-to-day accounting duties, such as AP/ Reconciliations, you will also be given ownership of management reporting for smaller companies across the group.
This role could suit an Assistant Management Accountant now looking to "own" some aspects of management reporting or potentially someone from practice now looking to take their first steps in industry.
Key duties will entail...
- Bank Reconciliations (Multi-Currency)
- VAT Returns
- Accruals/ Prepayments
- Variance Analysis
- Supporting with Budget setting and Forecasting
- Assisting the Finance Assistant with AP and AR duties
- An active ACCA, ACA, CIMA studier (possibly someone at the later stages of an AAT)
- Experienced in month-end duties, while also comfortable with the "transactional" side of finance too
- A car driver (due to location)
- Happy to work in a largely on-site role
- A role which can and will evolve into a supervisory one in time (for the right person)
- Free parking on-site
- Study support
- 1 day of home working per week
