Role
As a growing group of companies with ambitions to scale, we are seeking to hire a junior management accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be trained and with time will take on additional responsibilities such as month-end close, preparing monthly finance packs, preparing financial forecasts, conducting financial analysi, assisting the team with ad-hoc tasks as needed. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to gain exposure across multiple businesses operating in different industries and contribute to the overall financial health of the group. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task, curiousity and has a strong can-do attidue.
We have a well-established monthly management accounts process in place, allowing you to quickly familiarize yourself and make meaningful contributions from the outset. You will also benefit from the support of our strong and experienced finance team, who will provide the necessary guidance and assistance to ensure a smooth transition into your role.

Responsibilities
Prepartion of finance packs:
Responsible for preparation of monthly financial packs for assigned entites for senior leadership, offering commentary into performance
Assist in the preparation monthly management accounts:
Assist the team in compilig and analyzing financial statements, ensuring timely, accurate reporting. Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
Purchase Ledger Processing:
Perform processing of purchase invoice processing and performing supplier reconciliations with supplier statements VS Supplier Subledgers.
Payment Runs:
Iniating supplier payment runs and preparing daily payment summary for assigned companies and maintaing supplier paymet records with accuracy.
Assisting with external Auditors:
coordinate audit requests, provide financial data, and address queries to ensure audits are completed efficiently.
Skills & experience required
Accounting/financial experience:
: Experiences gained in relevant field via internships or apprentices would be a plus. Such as where you were require to analyse and interpret financial data, identifying and challenging discrepancies, and delivering detailed commentary on fluctuations across reporting periods at university
Team-work
: Demonstrates a strong team-working ethic, collaborating effectively with colleagues across all levels to achieve shared goals
Attention to Detail:
A meticulous approach to maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting and analysis.
Time Management
: Proven capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in working with accounting software and Excel.
