As a Junior Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the management accounts process, and partnering with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, taking full ownership of assigned areas
Analyse Balance Sheet transactions for accuracy and completeness
Support Finance Business Partners with preparation and review of company P&Ls
Act as a financial business partner to internal stakeholders across the company
Maintain and account for fixed assets, including depreciation and amortisation
Perform VAT calculations and submissions
Submit and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions each month
Assist with intercompany maintenance and Head Office financial submissions
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed
Provide audit support and assist with month-end and year-end processes
Ensure compliance and governance in all financial transactions
Liaise with other Group divisions to meet reporting requirements and compliance standards
About You
Relevant accountancy qualification or currently studying towards one (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
Solid MS Excel skills confident in using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a professional office environment
Previous experience in a similar finance/accounting role
A self-starter with a proactive and flexible approach to work
Able to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
