We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of various vehicles and machinery, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role is perfect for individuals looking to develop their mechanical skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the overall success of our operations. We also provide Classic Car services, promoting work on a wide range of various vehicles making work more varied and interesting.

Responsibilities

Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, and brake inspections. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Help with the installation of new parts and components as required. Ensure that all tools and equipment are kept in good working order and organised properly. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Experience

Previous experience or training in automotive or mechanical repair is advantageous but not essential. A basic understanding of mechanical systems and components is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the field of mechanics. Minimum grade of NVQ 2, however all applicants will be considered

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year
