2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.

We have an excellent opportunity for someone practical and eager to learn. As a Junior/Associate Equipment Management & Engineering (EME)

Technician

you'll support the safe management of essential medical equipment across our hospitals, with training, hands-on experience, and clear opportunities to grow your career in medical engineering within a supportive and welcoming team.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

What you'll be doing:



You'll learn to support the safe use and maintenance of a diverse range of medical equipment by:

Assisting with equipment inspection, testing, commissioning and calibration Supporting clinical teams with troubleshooting and applications advice Carrying out repairs under supervision Working within Medical Equipment Libraries (MELs) - collecting, delivering and preparing equipment Liaising with clinical staff, patients and external suppliers Keeping accurate records and helping to maintain high quality standards You'll gain exposure across multiple hospital sites, giving you a broad and valuable understanding of the service.

Training and Development:



Our EME Department actively champions professional development. As a Junior Technician, you will be supported through:

What we're looking for:



We welcome applicants with a practical mindset who are keen to develop their skills and grow within the service. Previous engineering or healthcare experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided. This role could be ideal for someone early in their engineering career, or for anyone ready to begin a meaningful and well supported technical career.

We're looking for someone who is:



Practical, adaptable and willing to learn Confident using IT systems and databases Organised with good time-management skills A clear communicator with strong customer focus

Essential:

GCSEs in English, Maths and Science

Desirable:

A full UK driving licence
