Responsibilities:



To support the Merchandise Manager in all aspects of trading, stock control and price management for the retail operation of the business. Manage & produce weekly market trading reports to summarise, analyse & identify key sales drivers by collection and category with the view to propose any necessary trading action. Assist the Merchandise Manager in identifying KGL lines for promotion, repeats and risk assessment. Support in updating Weekly Stock Sales and Intake forecasts (WSSI). Liaise regularly with the branch merchandising team to control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment to branches as required. Liaise with the warehouse team regularly to assist with stock transfers and price changes Review key Core lines forward sales forecasts by market to ensure stock availability on a regular basis. Establish and maintain strong relationships with the buying team, through regular meetings and communication. Cost markdown proposal for end-of-season sales and ensure that markdowns are on the system in line with the markdown calendar by market. Produce colour, price, sizing and ad hoc analysis on the range regularly working to tight and demanding deadlines. Provide historical analysis to develop Seasonal Planning Forecasts for all KGL Collections. Ensure a high degree of accuracy is maintained across all areas of responsibility.

Requirements




You are a proven Junior Merchandiser or have significant experience at the Assistant Merchandiser level within a premium retail environment.


You will play a key role in the successful planning and trading of our ranges, so a commercial mind-set and a strategic approach are vital



Passionate about Merchandising in a fashion environment The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and trading premium brands in an off-price environment Enjoys working with numbers and a strong team player You will pride yourself on building great relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and can adapt your communication style successfully. You are efficient, analytical and an optimiser, always aiming to exceed targets.
