We are currently searching for a Junior Merchandiser to lead Demand Planning for the Merchandising team.


As leader of the Demand Planning function, you will be responsible for the sales and inventory forecasting across all Core and Icon SKUs as well as working closely with the Collection Merchandising function on financials and budgeting. This role will suit you if you have a head for numbers, reporting and analysis. You will join us with robust relevant experience, perhaps from a larger retailer with significant menswear continuity product, and enjoy the challenge of establishing efficient systems and processes that ultimately optimise revenue for the business.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:





Demand Planning

Owning and maintaining Linecards at SKU level for all Core and Icon products Forecasting sales and stock by week Using historical data, market trends and the commercial calendar to accurately plan inventory across all channels Regularly review ranging, capacity and MIS (minimum in stock) levels by location Effectively managing duplicate SKU code transitions

Range Planning

Setting up and maintaining Category Budget sheets, range plans and option plans Support the Collection Merchandising team with OTB and Sales analysis at Category level Providing accurate fabric forecasting in line with Critical Path deadlines

Reviews and Reporting

Creating clear and informative reporting of demand plans for key stakeholders Lead monthly reforecast meetings reviewing key KPIs, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks Ownership of flagging risks and solutions to SMT in a timely manner, pre-empting overstocks or availability issues Ownership of the Core and Icon WSSI. Aligning demand plans with total sales budgets and latest view forecasts Reviewing inventory with Wholesale counterpart to improve stock efficiency

Supply Chain and Allocations

Monthly review of demand plans with the Production Team. Considering MOQ's and product lead times Reviewing and re-phasing intake based on demand, commercial calendar and warehouse capacity Working with the Allocation team to ensure replenishment is aligned with demand plans and coordinating stock transfers between stores and warehouses Providing inventory movement forecasts to the Logistics team

We are looking for someone who has:



Relevant experience from within a RTW apparel brand High levels of numeracy and an assured analytical capability The ability to translate technical merchandising data into strategic and tactical objectives that can be used across the business Proven ability to embed robust processes that contribute towards successful achievement of company targets and KPIs A commercial head; able to identify opportunities as well as risks Passion for working with Retail and Warehouse teams Advanced Excel skills Experience of influencing multiple stakeholders and departments
