About the Role



We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Packaging Designer to join our food packaging team on an initial 6-month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for a graduate who is passionate about food branding and packaging, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of consumer appeal and shelf impact.

Degree or diploma in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Product or a related field. Proficiency in ArtiosCad, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop,

What You'll Be Doing



Concept Development: Create innovative packaging concepts that align with brand identity and product requirements.

Testing & Validation: Oversee performance testing (e.g., shelf life, barrier properties, transport durability and hot hold.

Structural Design: Develop dyelines and prototypes using CAD software or manual techniques (e.g., paper folding).

Collaborate with other designers, marketing, and supply chain teams to bring packaging concepts to life

Prepare and refine print-ready artwork across various formats and materials

Support sustainability initiatives by exploring eco-friendly packaging options

Maintain organised filing systems and respond to administrative queries within the office environment, including assisting with packaging and parcel collections.

What We're Looking For



GCSE qualifications and a willingness to enrol in a Level 3 Apprenticeship. A basic understanding of clerical systems and a passion for design Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a keen eye for detail

London, UK - with occasional exposure to our manufacturing environment in Donegal, Ireland.

Pay & Hours



This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.

This role offers a pay rate of 12.21 per hour for the first 12 months, which will then be reviewed in line with skills and experience in the role.
