About Us:

We are a small, family-run claimant law firm based in St Albans, specialising in clinical negligence matters. Our firm is built on compassion, integrity, and a strong commitment to client care. Due to growth, we are looking for a Junior Paralegal to join our friendly team and support our senior solicitors with their caseloads.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate with a keen interest in medical or clinical negligence law to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. You will be assisting senior lawyers with a wide variety of tasks, including:

Requesting and chasing up medical records Opening and preparing new client files Drafting correspondence and client statements Handling incoming calls and liaising with clients in a professional and compassionate manner Supporting daily administrative and case management tasks for solicitors Filing, scanning, and ensuring accurate case documentation

Key Requirements:

Law degree (LLB or equivalent) - essential Genuine interest in clinical negligence and medical law Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable speaking to clients and maintaining a professional, empathetic tone Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team

Desirable:

Previous legal or administrative experience (including internships or placements) Familiarity with legal case management systems (training will be provided)
