Our Finance Teams: Our Finance team has a large part to play in the success of our business. We are based across a few locations, but operate as one team, and work together to create a positive, productive and highly efficient finance department within News UK.

Day to day you will:

• Accurate and timely end to end processing of various Irish and UK (including IR35) payrolls in collaboration with various departments within News UK and other Group Companies

Produce periodic and adhoc payroll reports

Resolving payroll queries raised by other members of the team, employees and various departments within News UK, Wireless and other Group Companies

Preparation of manual journals and resolving reconciliation queries

Working with the SAP Tech support team on BAU system changes and completing UAT

What we\'re looking for from you:

• CIPP Foundation degree with additional accreditations with IPASS, APA (or equivalent)

Clear understanding of employment law and tax regulations and the application to payroll procedures (UK, ROI)

SAP ECC 6 system payroll

Good Excel skills (Pivot tables, v-look up, nesting formulae)

Good understanding of Payroll Accounting practises and procedures (AAT Level 2)
