Great opportunity to join our team as a Junior Product Manager! You will assist the Senior Product Managers and Product Director to deliver the seasonal range development process and the coordination of the product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.



This role forms part of the Product department responsible for Product Management.



Product Management is a pivotal function within Equip Outdoor Technologies with the ultimate output to identify the customer need, taking in the larger strategic business objectives, drive the product portfolios and create category growth. As a Junior Product Manager at Equip, cross functional working and relationship building is integral to the success of the department. This role requires a good balance between creative and logical thinking as well as a focussed yet agile approach to daily tasks and long-term projects.





Key Responsibilities of Junior Product Manager (including but not limited to):



Research industry data, markets, sales, competitors as well as the external marketplace to deliver insightful information that will assist in identifying target consumers, customers, and product gaps for established as well as emerging markets Manage and implement PM internal processes such as Colour/SMU/Legal/Testing in a seam less manner Lead and take full ownership for the briefing process for identified subcategories Identify and deliver improved delivery of PM info cross functionally with a collaborative approach to eliminate confusion and create departmental efficiency Confidently execute range builds and follow up with any issues or problems to ensure range grid, Nav and associated internal working tools are up to date Inquisitive approach to internal data report building that can enhance range decision making Take ownership of main outputs from GTM/Product Dept meetings ensuring all are clearly documented and distributed for key stake holder input ahead of actions. Build excellent cross departmental relationships to contribute to efficient ways of working

At least 3 years' experience of working in a similar role Experience of working as part of a busy cross functional team Affinity with technical products, brands and a keen follower of trends Knowledge and passion for the outdoors and outdoor industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability cultivate and maintain relationships Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and a proactive independent thinker Ability to use Microsoft Office software to an advanced level, particularly Microsoft Excel Ability to pro-actively prioritise workload and manage own time Conscientious, highly organised and a keen eye for detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable



Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification Previous experience of PLM systems; ideally NAV
