Role Purpose



As a Junior Product Manager in our growing digital health team, you will support the development and optimisation of patient-facing and clinical digital products across the full product lifecycle. From discovery to delivery and beyond, you'll work cross-functionally with clinical, engineering, design, data, and operational teams to build safe, scalable and user-centred healthcare technology.

You will help shape digital experiences that improve health outcomes, enhance patient engagement, and simplify the delivery of the service. You'll be part of a passionate team working in agile, collaborative environments with continuous learning and improvement at the heart of what we do.

Key Responsibilities



Product Discovery & Strategy Support



Collaborate with Product Managers on product vision, strategy, and roadmap definition for key patient and clinician-facing services. Support market research, competitor analysis, and patient insight gathering to help identify unmet needs. Participate in discovery activities including stakeholder workshops, problem definition, opportunity assessment, and business case development. Document user needs, clinical workflows, and service maps, ensuring alignment to NHS priorities and user expectations.

Agile Product Delivery



Provide day-to-day support across service operations, ensuring continuity, stability, and timely resolution of issues impacting users or internal teams. Write and refine user stories, epics and acceptance criteria in collaboration with clinical, design and tech teams. Help prioritise and manage product backlogs using frameworks like MoSCoW. Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the agile delivery team, answering queries and providing context. Support sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, retros and stand-ups. Track product KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics post-launch to inform iteration cycles.

Stakeholder Management



Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g. clinical leads, compliance, IT, operations, analytics) to gather requirements and ensure alignment on priorities. Build strong relationships with external partners and suppliers as required. Prepare clear and concise product documentation, updates and demos for senior stakeholders.

Product Operations & Governance



Maintain up-to-date product documentation, including release notes, guides, and FAQs. Assist with audits and compliance documentation Monitor live services for issues, working with support and engineering to triage and resolve. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across product practice.

Experience and Qualifications



Proven ability to engage and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. Strong understanding of product development best practices and agile methodologies. Experience in digital healthcare, e-commerce or commercial software development sectors. Exposure to agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban or similar). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply. Experience working with stakeholders across disciplines (e.g., clinicians, developers, marketeers). A strong interest in digital health, patient-centred design, and emerging health technologies. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Good knowledge of technology and comfortable working with Agile development teams. Exposure to digital healthcare products and experience in regulated industries is beneficial. Experience working in a matrix organization. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and analytics platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Understanding of product estimation processes and the value of software features. Experience managing product backlogs and understanding the full lifecycle of omni-channel products.

Pay: Up to 45,000.00 per year
