The Role




The Junior Production Merchandiser will be responsible for supporting the Production Merchandisers and ensuring the smooth running and maximisation of our production orders across the supply base to deliver its full potential to deliver stock into the business to meet our to market targets.


Responsibilities



Preparing data and updates for the Production Merchandisers


Building effective supplier relationships to support partnership approach


Creating and managing the Production Critical path across allocated vendors.


Proactively chase and follow-up with factories on status of orders


Work with factories to follow-up on unconfirmed late and orders


Factory schedules - checking to make sure all orders on and planned with correct dates.


Inform factory to re-plan production and confirm delivery date following any fabric delivery date/ order detail change.


Weekly production meeting with internal teams.


Working closely with Merchandising, Operations and Product Development team to maximise opportunities


Improving process and efficiencies within our supply base

Skills & Qualities




Essential Knowledge and Experience:

Experience of working in a similar role. Good understanding of garment manufacturing , production line management and raw material management. Understanding of Sports, and FMCG/Fashion Industry preferred Ability to work cross-functionally, liaising with peer groups across the business to drive efficiencies and results Ability to work within strict deadlines and able to be adaptive to changes Comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment Excellent planning and organisation skills Flexible approach and willingness to further learn & adapt in a fast pace growing business High level of proficiency with MS Office, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
