Job Description

OCU Group are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Supervisor to join our vibrant and dynamic team!


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Junior Project Supervisor to support the delivery of a key wastewater and clean water infrastructure contract. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will oversee site operations, coordinate teams, and ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily site activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Manage subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring efficient use of resources. Monitor progress against programme and report any delays or issues. Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring works are carried out to specification. Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, material deliveries, and workforce logs. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities as required. Support the resolution of technical and operational issues on site. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Skills and Experience:



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the water industry (clean water and/or wastewater). Strong understanding of civil engineering and utility installation practices. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., CDM, NRSWA, Water Industry Specifications). Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Full UK driving licence.
