As a Junior Recruiter, you will be based in the London office and will work as part of our UK Campus / Graduate Recruiting Team. Working directly with candidates, you will focus on the end-to-end recruiting process for top campus talent from universities across the UK.
The Talent Attraction team helps strengthen McKinsey's reputation and attract top-tier talent to support the firm's broader business objectives. By identifying and hiring top-tier, diverse professionals, you will ensure the firm has the talent needed to meet growing demands across industries and practices. Your efforts will directly contribute to shaping the future of McKinsey by building a pipeline of high-potential individuals who will grow into the firm's next generation of partners and leaders, reinforcing its mission to create lasting impact for clients and the world.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:Supporting all recruiting activities with select universities in the UK Acting as a key contact for candidates throughout the full recruitment cycle, including attraction, selection and offers with a focus on select universities Contributing to creating and driving virtual and in-person recruiting events, working with careers services, referrals and school alumni groups Working closely with international colleagues around the world Liaising with the wider Human Resources division Supporting management and analysis of relevant data and systems, including candidate tracking databases

Your qualifications and skills

A minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field Initial experience in the HR environment, preferably in recruiting, gained during internships, as a working student or in a full-time role (up to 2 years of experience) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with candidates, recruiting colleagues and employees at all levels Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and deal with high candidate volumes Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and accommodate team demands Flexible working hours (i.e., willing to work long hours if needed); willingness to travel to major recruiting events as needed * Committed to representing our firm in a professional way, both in person and on the phone, video call or via email
