Duties



Business Development: Proactively source their own new business leads and attend external customer visits where required. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative duties and prepare basic freight quotes for clients. Customer Service: Act as a customer contact and support the wider sales team, including processing and conveying rate increases for European and domestic services as needed. General Administration: Manage general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the sales office. Professional Development: Engage in training and development to further enhance commercial skills and knowledge. Market Awareness: Keep up to date with market trends and freight costs to ensure competitive quoting.

Skills and Qualifications



Education:

A Bachelor's degree on business, logistics, supply chain management is preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role or customer service would be an advantage.

Communication:

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are essential for liaising with diverse clients and internal teams,

Technical Proficiency:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Personal Attributes:

A motivated, resilient and detail-oriented individual with a passion for learning and strong commercial insight with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in sales administration or related fields is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with freight forwarding operations and customs procedures is desirable.
