Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and friendly member of staff to join our retail sales team. You will be working with a team that offer knowledge and advice to customers in an equestrian retail environment. An understanding and interest in horses is necessary in order to offer professional customer service.

Key Skills:

- Must have confidence in selling quality products

- Excellent customer service skills

- Willingness to learn

- Self-driven and time-conscious qualities

- Ability to listen to customer questions and respond accordingly

- Equine experience/product knowledge

Job Roles:

- Assisting customers with purchases in store

- Safety wear fitting

- Loading feed & bedding into customer vehicles

- Operating of stock systems

- General shop duties such as stock taking, order management, tidying etc.

- Telephone operating

- Handling of customer orders through telephone and email

This job would suit

Someone that has an interest in horses but is looking to progress in a retail environment. Must be over 16 years of age.

Hours of work

The role is for approximately 35 hours per week to include a Sunday.

Pay

Dependant on age and experience.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.25 per hour
