Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest services, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide culinary recommendations will enhance the overall dining experience while contributing to the restaurant's success.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, assisting guests with their selections and upselling specials or high-margin items. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to effectively manage multiple tables and guest requests. Basic maths skills for handling bills and processing payments accurately. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A passion for culinary arts and knowledge of food preparation techniques is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
