Junior Sister /Charge Nurse -
We are really excited about the Ward Sister roles that we have developed for our wards within our Surgical Directorate and Planned Care Division. As part of our ambitious agenda and on-going development of the wards, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader into the ward sister role on MMW at St Helier Hospital.
Are you a compassionate nurse? Are you enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced and passionate about care? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for an outstanding and committed Ward Sister (band 6) to support the Mary Moore Ward within St Helier Hospital.
The successful candidate will be able to drive the clinical quality agenda; ensuring patients receive an outstanding experience within our care. We believe our senior nurses need to be pragmatic and ready to embrace change.
MMW ward is an surgical ward comprising of 39 beds. We have a clear and ambitious vision to provide outstanding patient care and to become the best; we would like you to be part of this success.
Main duties of the job
Our successful candidate will be someone who is highly engaged, with a desire to lead from the bedside and to set the tone for exceptional and high quality nursing care. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious nurse who is able to lead, motivate and inspire and who is able to champion compassionate, high quality and dignified patient care.
If providing excellent nursing care, getting the basics right are important to you and you have a strong desire to support and develop others to become excellent at what they do, and if making a difference and doing the right thing is fundamental to you, we would love to hear from you to discuss this exciting opportunity further.
