Title: Junior Site Technician
Location: Long Eaton & National
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (working hours will vary due to job requirements)
Contract type: Permanent

We are looking to recruit a new team member for our site survey team. Our survey team travel all over the UK, and occasionally abroad, surveying structures for corrosion and training personnel in corrosion management system installation. Our experienced staff will provide guidance and support to the successful applicant in developing their skills in corrosion surveying and corrosion management.

The position will primarily consist of site work, which includes time away from the office, for between 1-10 working days (typically) at one time. After training, site engineers are expected to undertake the writing of reports, and interfacing with engineers and other construction professionals at our offices in Long Eaton or across the country. As a part of CPT, you will have an opportunity to learn about all aspects of corrosion and corrosion management, opportunities to gain certified industry qualifications (BS EN ISO 15257) and be a part of our growing, employee-owned team consisting of both young and experienced corrosion professionals.

A successful applicant must be comfortable on-site, comply with health & safety regulations, work as a part of a team, hold a full UK driving licence, competent with hand tools, have good communication, and hold basic computer skills on Excel and Microsoft Word. Most of all, if you have a curious mind, enjoy learning and are comfortable in a dynamic position with a steady variety of tasks and challenges, this will be a fulfilling job with the possibility to grow as our company continues to expand. Educational background is preferred but not essential.
