Junior Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time)

Hours: Minimum 12 hours/week (weekend availability required)

Pay: Starting at 13.00 per hour, with potential increase after 3-month review based on performance

We're now looking for a confident, creative and self-motivated individual to take ownership of our social media, community outreach, and local partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and growing our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts Posting high-quality content 5 times per week across all platforms Creating engaging photo and video content using Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or similar tools Capturing live content at events (with consent), conducting casual interviews, and getting real moments on camera Writing and designing a weekly newsletter to keep our audience informed and engaged Building relationships with local businesses, organisations, and community leaders Distributing flyers, building awareness and attendance for events Organising regular activities such as mid-week game nights, dance parties, and seasonal events Being our go-to person for all things social media, events and communications
What We're Looking For

Experience managing and growing social media accounts professionally Confident using creative tools like Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, InShot, etc. A confident people-person -- you're happy to approach others, ask for content, and represent our brand with warmth Strong writing and communication skills A self-starter with a growth mindset -- capable of working independently and bringing fresh ideas Available on weekends and able to attend in-person events
Nice-to-Haves

Experience planning or running community events Basic knowledge of email marketing (e.g. Mailchimp or Substack) Understanding of analytics and insights across platforms
