We are Great Wave AI, a cutting edge UK business centred around the Great Wave AI Platform - an AI Agent Orchestration platform built for, and operating in, Enterprise and Government organisations.

We are establishing our technology capability in Lichfield, and are looking to grow the team with a full time permanent hire. You will be expected to be on site for a minimum 80% of the time, although we are flexible to the demands of modern life.

The main reason we want you to be on site is so we can learn from you, and you can learn from us.

The kind of person we are looking for:

- Looks at this world we live in and thinks "This makes no sense"

- Finds things they don't know highly interesting

- Is willing to learn, fast

- See's coding as an a little brother/sister - highly annoying at times but you wouldn't be without it

- Is eligible for Security Clearance

- Needs to understand, at least at conceptual level, object oriented programming

- Any level (and we mean any!) of experience in Python or any front end framework

- Understands that software only works when it returns value for people, which is best done with engineering excellence, not just coding.

What you will be doing:

- Bug fixing, new feature development, testing and deployment both front end and back end

- Working with the latest Generative AI technology

- Some client facing work, to work with our customers to understand their pain points and devise applicable solutions.

Our recruitment process is as follows:

- Our CTO will meet you for an initial interview

- You will do a technical exercise

- We will meet you again to go through the exercise and feedback

- A final interview with our CEO and CTO

Please note, we are not in a rush, we want to find the right person. We expect to onboard around in approx 2 months from the start of this job posting.

Pay: 24,420.00-30,419.83 per year
