We are seeking a passionate and skilled JNR Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities. Assist daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and performance. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving. Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably as a Chef or similar role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving within the kitchen environment.

Pay: 31,420.00-35,100.00 per year
