We're looking for a dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team. You'll support exceptional food service for our new immersive experience celebrating the life and work of Elvis Presley - ELVIS EVOLUTION. Based at the ExCel London, you'll take full responsibility for kitchen and food preparation areas, assist the Head Chef, supervise the Back of House areas, and more!

Junior Sour Chef - the role
Improving in food preparation and presentation
Maintaining high food quality standards through tastings and refining techniques
Managing the stock take process
Assisting in project management for upcoming events
Assisting with the preparation of labour planners and staff rotas
Providing ongoing support to the Head Chef in managing day-to-day operations, including food cost control, labour cost management, and reducing waste
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef equivalent role with a strong culinary background
Demonstrated skill in preparing a diverse range of high-quality dishes.
Strong organisational and time-management skills
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
A creative approach to menu planning and presentation
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
Genuine interest and enthusiasm for working in the events industry
