We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help create a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Experience
Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and culinary techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
