Summary



We are seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at The Timble Inn. In this role, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining our reputation for culinary excellence in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations. Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Train new kitchen staff on procedures and best practices.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh food preparation and presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
