Junior TikTok Producer

to join our Sport team - Is this your next opportunity?


As Junior TikTok Producer, you will be part of a wider team and work closely with the TikTok Producer. Responsibilities include planning, producing and editing TikTok-specific content by using existing archives and shooting new original talent-led features. The role focuses on content ideation, editing, pre-production planning, stakeholder management and community engagement. The successful candidate should be a TikTok native, understand the intricacies of the platform algorithm and how content should be developed to maximise the opportunity for the Barclays WSL to grow audiences and increase viewership.

Please note:

Some weekend and out-of-hours work will be needed. As part of the original content production requirements, travel within the UK will be required.


HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME



Supporting to plan, develop and execute video content, including pre-production planning, ideation, logistics and execution of shoots. Keeping up to date on TikTok trends/sounds and how best to implement them in a footballing context. Editing platform-specific content (using Adobe Premiere) from archive/highlights or original rushes. Liaising with the client on strategy, plans and approval, building a strong working relationship in the process. Working alongside the wider Barclays Women's Super League social media teams at Little Dot Studios to execute strategy in line with departmental and client objectives - be it brand, revenue or engagement-focused. Publishing content. Community management - responding to comments and engaging with the audience. Developing and maintaining the brand tone of voice through the content. Monitoring the performance of content using platform analytics.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED



Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

A strong understanding of, and exhibiting, best practices on TikTok. An ability to capture vertical content using mobile phones, ring lights and audio equipment. A genuine passion for Women's football in England with a strong knowledge of the Barclays WSL and Barclays WSL 2. Creativity to ideate talent-led original content opportunities, manage pre-production and produce content. Highly experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud - Adobe Premiere Pro. Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is also desirable. Confident working with high-profile athletes and talent.
