POSITION OVERVIEW

SCARGILL MANN & CO RESIDENTIAL SALES OFFICE is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Valuer to join our professional team serving East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and Derby. We are members of the Guild of Property Professionals and the National Association of Estate Agents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in property valuation and analysis within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate, who will have at least one to two years of experience as a valuer, will assist the director and the sales team in assessing property values, preparing research, and contributing to accurate and reliable property evaluations.

Duties

Support the preparation of valuation reports and documentation Preparation of property details, floorplans, and photography Conduct research to stay informed about current property trends, values and compliance within the property industry. Maintain organised records of valuations and client information. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and solicitors. Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights from analysis and research

Assist in accompanying viewers around property for sale.

Requirements

Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately A clean driving licence and willingness to travel between locations are essential. Excellent customer service skills to liaise professionally in both written and verbal forms with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT, social media applications and relevant software programmes. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Prior experience in property valuation is essential. Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a proactive attitude

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
