Responsibilities: As a Junior/Trainee Barber at The Groom Room, you will have the opportunity to:

Learn and Assist:Work closely with experienced barbers and mentors to learn the art of barbering. Assist senior barbers with various grooming services, including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and styling, while observing and absorbing their expertise.

Develop Technical Skills:Receive hands-on training in haircutting techniques, including scissor cuts, fades, and basic styling. Learn proper beard grooming, facial hair styles, and the art of a straight razor shave.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner. Provide assistance during consultations, ensuring client satisfaction and comfort throughout their visit to the barbershop.

Maintain Cleanliness and Hygiene:Learn and adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards. Assist with cleaning and organizing the work area, sterilizing tools, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for clients and colleagues.

Embrace Learning Opportunities:Stay curious and eager to learn. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance your knowledge of current trends, techniques, and products in the barbering industry.

Requirements: To be considered for the role of Junior/Trainee Barber at The Groom Room, you should meet the following requirements:

Enthusiasm and Dedication:Show enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and a dedicated work ethic. Be willing to put in the time and effort required to develop your skills.

Strong Interpersonal Skills:Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.

Commitment to Cleanliness:Understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in a barbershop environment. Be willing to adhere to strict sanitation protocols.

Barbering Qualifications (Preferred):While prior experience is not necessary for this role, having completed a barbering course or possessing any relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
