Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional K9 Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role is vital in preventing loss, managing emergencies, and enforcing security protocols across our facility. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security operations is highly desirable. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to security incidents to uphold safety standards.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols with a dog of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks. Monitor CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to observe activity and ensure all areas are secure. Respond swiftly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified. Enforce security policies and procedures while managing conflicts professionally and effectively. Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities. Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during investigations or emergencies. Conduct access control checks for employees, visitors, and vendors entering the premises. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining security protocols.

Qualifications

Valid Uk Driver's License required. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security preferred. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation. Excellent conflict management and communication skills. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. Physical ability to perform patrol duties which may include standing for extended periods and patrolling large areas. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. Pay: 24,420.00-47,679.00 per year
