1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB



Occupational category :Compliance Manager (Mid-Level) Personnel: 1 Foreign language skills: : Fluency in English (Fluency in Korean is advantageous)

2. MAIN DUTY



We are seeking a proactive and experienced Compliance Manager to support the Compliance Officer (CO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) functions within our London Branch. This mid-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and a hands-on approach to compliance and financial crime risk management.

3. Key Responsibilities



- Develop and maintain effective compliance and financial crime risk policies and procedures

- Monitor and mitigate compliance risks across the Branch's operations

- Oversee the compliance monitoring programme and complaints-handling process

- Liaise with UK regulators (FCA, PRA, FSCS, HMRC) and manage regulatory relationships

- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and internal compliance/AML updates

- Advise business units to ensure alignment with regulatory obligations

- Coordinate with headquarters to share risk insights, best practices, and project-related compliance requirements

- Lead and support a team of compliance and financial crime professionals

4. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTITUDE



- Proven experience in a compliance or AML role within financial services

- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory bodies and reporting requirements

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

- Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is a plus
