Kennel Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a hard working, reliable and friendly individual to join our small team. Must have a love and good understanding of animals and their behaviour/well-being, be physically fit to carry out all aspects of the role, have good communication skills, be willing to work in all weathers and be able to work as a team and on your own.
Duties will include: Dog walking, cleaning kennels and cattery pens to high standard, feeding, administering medication when needed, communicating with customers face to face and over the phone, taking bookings and payments and the supervision of younger members of staff
Previous experience in the animal care industry and/or relevant animal care qualification is
extremely
desirable
Due to our location, own transport is necessary (on-site parking available)
Hours: 28.5 hours p/w consisting of split shifts
Mon 8-11am and 3-5:30pm Tues 8-11am and 3-5:30pm Thurs 8-11am and 3-5:30pm Fri 8-11am and 3-5:30pm Sun 8-12pm and 3-5:30pm
Split shifts would suit applicants living in Crewkerne and surrounding area
Start date: ASAP

Pay: 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 28.5 per week
