We are looking for an experienced, reliable and dedicated kennel assistant to join the team here at our established, highly recommend boarding kennels and cattery.

Requirements include:

Being confident and comfortable interacting with cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. Working efficiently as a team member and with the initiative to work alone as needed. Good time management and organisational skills. Maintaining good customer relations, providing a friendly and professional service. The ability to work under pressure and willingness to learn and take direction A genuine love and passion for caring for animals and understanding their needs. 18+ full clean driving license with own transportation
General responsible include:

Cleaning and preparing kennels and chalets Exercising dogs Preparing meals and feeding Interacting with customers Taking and managing bookings Answering phone calls and emails Processing payments Grooming (such as brushing and bathing) Administering medication Monitoring animals and reporting any issues to management to ensure animal welfare Odd jobs during quieter periods
Previous experience in animal care is required. Qualifications in Animal Behaviour and Welfare are prefered.

Due to our location own transport is essential.

This is a physical job which requires working outdoors in all weathers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.80 per hour
