Assist with the daily care of animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed by veterinary staff Perform thorough animal handling and restraint to ensure safety during grooming, veterinary examinations, or cleaning procedures Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to promote a healthy environment for all animals Support pet grooming activities such as bathing, brushing, and trimming fur to keep animals comfortable and presentable Provide pet sitting services by monitoring animals' behavior and ensuring their well-being during their stay Support veterinary technicians and assistants with basic medical procedures or treatments under supervision Engage in dog training exercises to promote good behavior and socialization among kennel residents Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or large animals safely and efficiently Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions from pet owners and providing updates on their pets' status Assist with animal intake and discharge processes, ensuring proper documentation is completed accurately



Prior experience in kennel work, pet grooming, or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is advantageous Experience working with veterinary technicians or veterinary assistants is a plus Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments Familiarity with pet care routines including feeding, medication administration, and grooming practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking Basic understanding of animal behavior and safety protocols in a kennel environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

You will need to able to drive and be over 25YEARS OLD( as reuired for company fleet insrance for company vehicle.
We perfer experience working in kennels .but not essential as training wil be giving.
You maybe reqired to attended callouts would you have issues? this is 24 hour services. and on interview this will disgust in more detail.
