The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, relationship-focused sales professional to take the next step into a Key Account Management role within a high-growth global organisation. As a Key Account Manager, you will actively drive value and growth through developing, nurturing, and expanding high-value customer relationships within the Event Industry adopting a strategic and targeted approach with identified key customers.
Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining key customer relationships and identifying opportunities for continued growth and development.
Pro-actively anticipating customer requirements and ensuring flawless end to end customer service.
Acting as primary point of contact for customer queries or concerns.
Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless delivering against the client expectations.
Making effective and constant use of the internal CRM system in order to track and develop opportunities effectively.
Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class service.
Undertaking weekly reporting and other ad hoc requirements as they arise.
Essential Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate needs to be highly energetic, articulate and a self-starter with the desire to develop their career within a fast-paced team. Candidates must possess the following skills and experience: Experience in a targeted and driven sales roles, preferably within the Events Sector.
Experience of working independently to form strategic plans in an efficient and organised way
Articulate communicator both in writing, on the telephone and in person and will have an eye for detail and a desire to 'get it right first time'
Demonstrable experience of strong relationship-building and creating new opportunities
Trustworthy and conscientious and ideally have experience of being able to work alone with minimal supervision
Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with existing customers as well as being able to develop relationships with potential customers.
