Summary



We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing key client relationships, retaining customers and driving sales growth. This is an

office based

role. Existing knowledge of the door/ironmongery industry would be helpful, however this is not critical providing you are able/willing to learn!

Key Tasks & Responsibilities



1 - Monthly sales target for the assigned set of customers

2 - The face of Welling and key point of contact for assigned customers, developing and maintaining good customer relationships. Understand in detail the particular customers' needs and requirements. Act as highest point of escalation for issues that customer service cannot resolve.

3 - Tenacious follow-up of quotes and schedules, using our CRM to log deals/project information and activities. Identify opportunities to increase sales/profit

4 - Identify customer leakage and act swiftly to bring back any customers we have lost to competition

5 - Happy to do some telemarketing/teleselling to new prospects and leads as required

NOTE

: we have strong sales support and customer service teams, assisting the Key Account Managers with quotes and order processing etc day to day.

Key Attributes



1 - Strong relationship building and communication skills, being the face of Welling for the customer. Willing to give impeccable service, with a problem-solving mindset

3 - Happy to phone customers and have conversations that may be difficult

4 - Be willing to learn the technical aspects of our product range and confident advising customers or discussing product/installation issues on sites

5 - Be comfortable with some proactive sales work including telemarketing/teleselling to new leads and prospects

6 - Take ownership when mistakes happen or when customers have problems, and see matters through to completion to keep customers on board

7 - Comfortable using our CRM and other IT systems, quick at typing and able to write emails/letters professionally

Remuneration/Other



The salary offering is indicative, but will be discussed, as this does depend on your experience, whether you have any existing product or industry knowledge etc.

We give extra holiday for our Christmas shutdown, depending on dates but usually 3-4 extra days per year.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
