In the UK, our Oncology business is growing rapidly, with a clear ambition to become a renowned and innovative player in haematology cancers.
The Key Account Manager - Haematology will be responsible for compliantly driving sales growth, market access and advocacy development in key accounts, while meeting the needs of key customers. The role requires developing and implementing effective business plans in line with company objectives and brand strategy and establishing successful relationships with key customers. The KAM will act as an expert partner with excellent product and therapeutic area knowledge.
Main responsibilities:
Enabling all eligible patients to be treated by Servier therapeutic options
Achieving sales targets by developing sales growth and market access.
Successful development and implementation of the territory business plan
Targeting, profiling and development of KOLs to allocate appropriate use of internal resources
Develop and improve the level of collaboration with key regional and national experts
Develop and improve the level of product advocacy amongst key regional experts
Maintaining high levels of commercial and environmental knowledge to support changing clinical practice, local NHS services, pathways, and guidelines
Strategic thinking and the ability to analyse the needs of a large territory and make informed decisions on which accounts to prioritise
Supporting the wider Haem team including sales, marketing, and medical teams
Having a deep understanding of the patient journey. Demonstrate a focus on improving patient care and outcomes
The ability to learn the relevant phase three trial data quickly and communicate the key therapeutic benefits of Servier Haem products.
Providing education to stakeholders in relation to the in-license indications of Servier Oncology products
To have the ability and willingness to manage a commercial budget, and invest in large regional meetings and expert led, product focused initiatives
Optimising the use of multichannel communication to build and maintain trusting relationships with HCPs, developing brand and company awareness
Identifying and support local market access initiatives to ensure access and availability to Servier products aligned to the agreed pricing and reimbursement strategy
Ensuring Servier products are positioned within local treatment guidelines to support access of appropriate medicines to all eligible patients
Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
Experience as a field-based representative in the pharmacuetical industry
Experience of working as a key account manager preferred, but not essential
Experience of working in Secondary care focused, specialist medicine
Consideration will be given to a less experienced candidate with a growth mindset and determination to embrace new challenges and broaden their skill set
Excellent scientific acumen and willingness to embrace the scientific nature of this role
