Key Account Manager

We have a new opportunity for a sales professional to join our International Sales team as our new Key Account Manager, with a focus on our Asia region.

This will be a varied and highly responsible role. You will play a key part in developing and implementing sales strategies for this territory alongside managing day to day business relationships with accounts in this area.

Your mission will be to manage key relationships with retailers, maximise turnover through skilled negotiation and bring a market-facing perspective back to the business.

Relationships are at the core of this role, and you will work collaboratively with areas across the business to proactively drive sales opportunities and connect our customers with our authors, brands and books.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for all PRH English language Adult sales in the region
  • Travel regularly to the area and spend time with your customers
  • Develop strong relationships with your customers, engendering trust in your ability to deliver what they need, whilst also pushing back when necessary
  • Use data for your region to determine where potential for growth lies and you will put strategies in place to develop this further.
  • Seek out and initiate plans to win new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with key accounts to plan strategic growth through partnerships, exclusive deals or innovative promotions.
  • Keep a keen eye on competition in the region and put strategies in place to gain market share
  • Work analytically around performance goals, tracking key accounts and title results and reporting that information back to the business.
  • Become a strong voice for the region and the wider export markets within the UK based business.
  • Travel regularly to meet customers across our Eastern European markets
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrable sales experience
  • Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to flex according to local customs or individual key contacts
  • The ability to multitask and handle competing priorities
  • The ability to regularly work autonomously in the field and be an ambassador for PRH internationally
  • Flexibility and resilience during sales trips across a range of time zones
  • Confidence to act as a strong advocate for the territory internally
  • Demonstrable analytical and numeracy skills
For this role you will be expected to travel for approximately 6-8 weeks per year.

This role will be based in our London offices near Pimlico, although you will also have the opportunity to work from home. We\'ll be happy to discuss working pattern over the interview process.

Salary: circa \xc2\xa337,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus benefits.
