Overview

We are looking for an experienced account manager with consistent success in expanding and retaining an existing portfolio of corporate B2B clients.




Working within our Key Account team, this role takes on the significant responsibility of working with some our largest and longest-tenured clients, consisting of the world's leading law firms and professional services firms, selling across the range of Chambers' core product offerings.




The ideal candidate will have experience working in a consultative, subscription sales environment, surpassing sales revenue targets through a combination of new business acquisition and account growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and grow (upsell/cross-sell) an existing book of business through value-based selling, with a focus on Chambers' data and analytics products. Maintain strong new business sales pipeline, produce high-quality proposals and accurate monthly forecasts Balance short and long-term account objectives through innovative account management. Strengthen existing relationships whilst proactively forging new relationships with strategic stakeholders within global law firms (e.g. Managing Partners, CMOs, Heads of BD etc.) Detailed global account mapping to identify white space and new buyers/influencers to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

You will work flexibly in our Fleet Street office, together with the rest of the Sales team on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and normally from home the rest of the week.

Skills and Experience

A track record of success in previous B2B sales or account management positions Experience in a similar, complex sales environment (e.g. SaaS, Professional Services or subscription sales within BI, data or research) Background selling into law firms/legal sector, including face-to-face pitching/presentations with senior stakeholders, is beneficial Innovative and structured approach to driving new business acquisition Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business requirements into value propositions
