Join a leading specialist Pharmaceutical organsiation that specialises within the field of Transplantation!

Our client is in search of an ambitious and tenacious Key Account Manager to join their sales team in promoting their niche Transplantation portfolio into key Secondary Care customers across the North of the UK (North West, Yorkshire, North East, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin).

Salary/Package confidential as per client request - Details available upon application (Industry average salary guide for role type: \xc2\xa350,000 to \xc2\xa365,000 DOE).

Ideal Requirement for the Key Account Manager

  • You will have strong experience as a Key Account Manager in Secondary Care (ideally within Specialist Care).
  • Experience within the Neonatology or Transplantation therapy area would be advantageous.
  • Evidence of successfully working with formulary submissions and medicines optimisation projects.
  • Excellent NHS knowledge coupled with a strong understanding of both the clinical and payer environment.
  • ABPI Qualified.
Role Responsibilities for the Key Account Manager
  • Achieve sales targets/growth and business objectives contained in sales and marketing plans.
  • Put in place robust planning practices for specialist hospital products being promoted by the business unit.
  • Develop a business plan to achieve sales targets. Implement plan, including the use of tracking mechanisms to identify variances to plan and taking appropriate action to eliminate negative variances.
  • Develop detailed account plans to influence product awareness, adoption, and formulary inclusions. These should include call activity plans and how to move customers along the adoption curve.
