Key Account Manager (Industrial -- Welding & Abrasives)
Salary: 30,000 + uncapped commission (8% of Net Sales)
OTE: Year 1: 35-38k realistic o Year 2: 45-60k realistic

We sell to end-users--fabricators, machine shops, maintenance teams--across cutting, grinding, sanding, blasting and welding consumables. You'll own a compact territory with thousands of targets, backed by a technical specialist, next-day delivery, and fast quoting.
What you'll do
Build and grow a B2B field pipeline: 12-15 face-to-face visits/week, quote, close, and onboard new customers.
Win trials that prove lower cost-per-cut / faster deposition / longer life--with our Technical Specialist on site when needed.
Develop key accounts: multi-site agreements, price files, and usage expansion across workshops and shifts.
Own your patch data: clean CRM, rolling 3x pipeline, tidy forecasts, and margin discipline.
What good looks like
Months 1-3: learn the range, book visits, land first 5-10 customers.
Months 4-6: regular quoting, trials converting, monthly sales trending 25-30k.
Months 7-12: steady 30-40k+/month, repeat orders, stable margins. (That's how the OTE figures above are achieved.)*
You'll need
Proven industrial field sales experience (ideally welding/abrasives or adjacent MRO/engineering supplies).
Confident on shop floors and with managers--able to talk processes, parameters, safety and total cost.
A hunter's cadence, tidy admin, and a clean UK driving licence.

Pay & commission
Salary 30,000.
Commission: 8% of Net Sales Each month you're paid the greater of your salary guarantee or 8% of Net Sales (uncapped).
