The Role

As a Key Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our key customers. You'll play a crucial role in driving sales growth, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring Bugalugs remains a preferred brand across the pet care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, grow and develop key accounts, including major retailers, wholesalers, and international partners. Build strong, long-term relationships with buying teams, category managers, and key stakeholders. Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, and terms of business. Develop and execute key accounts to drive sales performance. Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, product development) to ensure seamless customer experience and delivery. Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to represent Bugalugs.

About You:

Proven track record in key account management, ideally within FMCG, pet care, or health & beauty sectors. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities. Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven. Ability to analyse data and turn insights into actionable business strategies. Passion for pets and a genuine interest in the pet care industry is a plus!
