KS1 Teacher - Long Term Cover - Scarborough
Full Time | Until Spring 2026 | Large, well-organised primary school
We're working with a busy, welcoming primary school in the heart of Scarborough, who are looking for a confident KS1 Teacher to join their team from September to cover a planned absence.
This is a large setting with well-established routines, clear behaviour policy, supportive leadership, and strong systems to help you hit the ground running. The class is settled, the planning is in place, and the school are looking for someone who can bring energy, consistency and a warm, professional presence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the KS1 curriculum Support pupils with their early academic and emotional development Work collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and year group team Maintain strong classroom routines and behaviour expectations Track progress and provide feedback in line with the school's approach Communicate positively with parents and wider staff
What you'll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 A calm, consistent and nurturing approach A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
