Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality and engaging
Computer Science lessons
across Key Stages, including
A Level
.
Plan and implement
innovative teaching strategies
and resources that promote active learning.
Maintain an orderly and positive
classroom environment
that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Uphold and promote the school's
restorative behaviour policy
, fostering respect and collaboration.
Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental standards.
Participate in
departmental meetings
and
professional development opportunities
.
Provide
pastoral care and guidance
to students, supporting their wellbeing and academic progress.
Stay informed about current developments in
Computer Science
and
educational technology
to enrich teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Proven experience teaching
Computer Science
, ideally up to
A Level
.
Strong lesson planning, communication, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to
inclusive education
and student-centred learning.
Preferred:
Experience teaching across a range of
learning styles and abilities
.
Background in
curriculum development
or Computer Science pedagogy.
Familiarity with
innovative teaching tools and digital learning platforms
.
Experience with
restorative practices
or positive behaviour management.
