We are looking for a Teaching Assistant/Midday Meals Supervisor who is able to work full time or part time (as part of a team). The school is open to being flexible about days/hours worked for the right candidate.
Can you assist in the educational and social development of children under the direction and guidance of the class teacher.
Provide support for children inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Be responsible for the safe and efficient supervision of pupils during the lunch break.

What You Need to Succeed
Maths and English GCSE grade C (or equivalent) or better
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) relevant to working within education and/or a commitment and ability to undertake further training
Enjoy working with children
Able to have a good rapport with children
Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enthusiastic
Hardworking, flexible and motivated
Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
Good verbal communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with other professionals
Able to take the initiative and self-manage to prioritise tasks and time
Confidentiality and sensitivity
Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school, being a catholic is not required.
Be patient and remain calm under pressure
