Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, attainment, and next steps
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports emotional regulation and wellbeing
Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to meet the needs of all learners
Build and maintain constructive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Take an active role in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
Promote the school's behaviour and pastoral strategies, including Zones of Regulation
Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to the inclusive and trauma-informed ethos
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Committed to inclusive practices and supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds, including those with English as an additional language and those eligible for free school meals
Skilled in behaviour management and building trust with children
Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in a collaborative environment
Enthusiastic about ongoing professional learning and wider school involvement, Paid to Scale.
